After School Tutoring
grad200The After School Tutoring Program covers a variety of academic subjects such as MATH, READING, SCIENCE, and more. It is operated by a team of professional educators that will oversee academic records, student conduct, attendance as well as schedule conferences with teachers/counselors, principals, as needed. Members of the West Louisville Boys & West Louisville Girls Choir are tutored in their needed subject area(s) by former administrators and teachers from Jefferson County Public Schools.

This unit is very important for the overall success of each student. Therefore, it is mandatory that each student’s academic progress be monitored by the academic team each grading period.  It is our goal is to prepare students at a level of excellence to meet the qualifications and all criteria necessary to be considered for the scholarship opportunities. We extend a very special thanks to the University of Louisville, for being the first institution to help make the dream of a college education a reality. The University of Louisville offers a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to those students who meet the following requirements:

• GPA – 2.5

• ACT Score – 21

• In good standing with justice system.
